Physical Play Environments

Playgrounds Southport

The playground is a place where children can explore their interests, develop their own skills and become confident and independent lifelong learners.

My Cubby House Early Learning understands that the physical environment needs to be inspiring and engaging as well as foster a sense of belonging for the children, families and staff. Our centre is unique in that the play spaces have been specially-designed to allow children to have free-flowing indoor/outdoor play, all in a sun-safe environment. The variety of areas our centre offers mean that children are frequently exposed to new experiences and stimulation.

Boat Playground

Our boat playground in the front courtyard is an undercover, all weather play area that allows children to explore with curiosity, challenge their developing skills and build friendships with peers, regardless of the weather. The sandpit and garden with stepping stones and wooden seating is a highlight for children in this play space.

Tractor Playground

Our tractor playground provides a rich and diverse range of experiences that will promote children’s learning and development. Children love the real tractor and water play. Our veggie garden provides opportunities for children to learn about sustainability and encourages healthy eating.

Sports Playground

This is a multi-purpose open space where children can run and play with no obstructions. There are no fixed structures, so the area can be set up to accommodate whatever activity children may want to do. Ball sports, climbing frames and walking planks, bike riding or even reading a book. The opportunities are endless in this versatile play space.

Indoor/Outdoor Play

Our indoor, open plan play areas allow children to play, explore and continue to be active – rain, hail or shine!
